Welcome to Invictus Paddling Club!

Since our founding in April 2014, Invictus Paddling Club has proudly offered passionate athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in Tampa the chance to embrace the exciting challenges of competitive dragon boat and stand-up paddle (SUP) racing. We thrive on the thrill of the race, camaraderie, and the serene beauty of Tampa's waters.

Our Offerings:

• Competitive Edge: Join us for up to 10 exhilarating dragon boat races and 10 SUP races annually, as we foster both competitive spirit and personal growth.

• Practice Schedule: Dive into our community with practices held weekly at the scenic Rick’s on the River. Sessions accommodate both early birds and evening adventurers every Wednesday at 6:30 PM and Saturday at 8:30 AM.

• Affordable Membership: For only $20/month, enjoy benefits that include boat storage, insurance, and maintenance, all within a supportive and united community.

Leadership and Experience:

• Steered by Expertise: Led by Captain Jim Ellis, who brings 18 years of profound expertise, our club navigates the future with confidence and skill.

Community Commitment:

• Impactful Engagement: We proudly partner with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, conducting quarterly shoreline cleanups and participating in meaningful community events such as World’s Ocean Day, Paddle 4 Autism, and Make-a-Wish Foundation events.
